Jesús Tornero has worked for years in the area of laser spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, ultrafast pulsed lasers and coherent control of molecular processes, participating in the development of innovative platforms in the area of atmospheric pressure, spectrometry for the detection of explosives, high voltage sources, corona discharge units, electrospray and femtoamperimetric electrometers with applications in both civil and military environments.
In 2014 he founded the innovation company INNTEGRA ( focused on research and innovation in medical products for diagnosis and therapy employing mechanical, electronic, biomedical and computer engineers.
He is now the head of the Innovation and Development department of the Hospital Los Madroños with extensive experience with imaging modalities (MRI, CT, US…), personnel management and collaborative work with other diagnostic units and public hospitals (integration of PACS-HIS-RIS systems between public and private hospitals) and the Director of the Center for Clinical Neuroscience-HLM, a centre focused on translational research in the field of neurorehabilitation.

Natacha León performed the residency in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital of Madrid. She moved to Barcelona to develop her medical career in the Institut Guttmann, as staff physiatrist in the Spinal Cord Injury and Head of the Pediatric Neurorrehabilitation Unit, with special dedication in the field of robotics and innovation in rehabilitation, participating in research projects and teaching responsabilities. Actually she continues her clinical and research activity as Head of the Advanced Neurorrehabilitation Unit at the Hospital Los Madroños.

Erik Prinsen is trained as a physiotherapist and clinical health scientist and obtained his PhD from the University of Twente in 2016 on the evaluation of an auto-adaptive prosthetic knee for individuals with an above-knee amputation. He currently works as the department head Rehabilitation Technology at Roessingh Research and Development. This research group focuses, amongst others, on the co-development and evaluation of (prototypes of) rehabilitation technology. Besides his job at Roessingh Research and Development he is also the chair of the Dutch Society for Rehabilitation Physiotherapists and the chair of the Dutch member society of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics
